Texas Hill Country Glassblowing Studio For sale
We have decided that running a glassblowing studio and art gallery is a bit more than the two of us can manage and we're ready to retire... again. This is a GREAT OPPORTUNITY for you to run a profitable glassblowing studio and grow it into more than we can even imagine. In less than two years, we've become profitable AND a destination since we opened in November 2023. We've been working about 7 months a year and usually only 2 days a week. (In full transparency, we both receive pensions from our previous employers for our living expenses, but we're happy to share the business financials with you. This is completely doable!) You could expand on the number of days you're open, the number of experiences you offer, demos, and create your art in an amazing setting. The arts community in Fredericksburg is growing and you can be part of it.
But that's not all...
Located in the fast-growing Texas wine country, Fredericksburg and Gillespie County get 1.5 to 2 million visitors a year who want to experience more than 75 wineries, amazing restaurants and everything the quaint, historic town of Fredericksburg, TX has to offer. The population of Fredericksburg is about 14,000, but swells on the weekends and during holidays and special events, so you can live in a small town and bring glassblowing to the masses.
We would prefer to sell the business and property all together since visitors have come to expect our glassblowing studio to be part of their Fredericksburg experience. Located on 22-acres in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, this is a great business opportunity for you to run your own glassblowing studio in a tranquil setting. We are located only 10 minutes from Main Street on the way to Enchanted Rock State Park (the most-visited state park in Texas). (And if you haven't heard, Texas Parks & Wildlife Dept. just bought thousands of acres to expand E-Rock, so visitation is only going to grow.)
We've done all the heavy lifting for you... buying and setting up all the equipment, including all utilities and generator hook-up, landscaping, marketing, branding, parking areas, and establishing this as a tourist destination. The property includes a 3-bedroom/2 bath house, 3 sheds (we converted one into an an art gallery, one into an artist studio, and one into an office), RV roof cover (the RV is for sale, too), pollinator garden/picnic area, business signage, and there's deer hunting on the property. There are so many ways to increase the income-generation of this property... live in the RV and rent out the house (or vice versa), add glamping sites (we can give you the contacts), deer leases, and so much more.
If you're interested in owning a heavenly piece of the Texas Hill Country and building a glassblowing business beyond your wildest dreams, please reach out directly at (830) 321-7991.
The items below are included in the sale. If we don't get offers on the business and property, we are willing to sell individual items, but our preference is the whole she-bang. We are getting an appraisal on the property and it will be on the MLS soon... but don't delay. This opportunity isn't going to last long.
We look forward to hearing from you.
