Art is HOT, and glassblowing is particularly HOT. Glassblowing is not recommended for expecting mothers in the third trimester or for others who have particular sensitivities to heat.

Please let us know in advance if you have any mobility issues. We make every effort to accomodate people with mobility and other challenges, but you must be able to walk independently, be in a high-heat environment (the hot shop is generally 20-30 degrees HOTTER than outside temperatures), and understand our verbal instructions in English (please bring an ASL interpreter with you if you are hearing impaired).

If you are pregnant or have any other health issues, please check with your doctor before signing up for an experience or workshop. We must have a signed Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability form on file before allowing you into the glassblowing studio.

Experiences for everyone 8 and older. (Children under 8 years old are not allowed in the hot shop where furnaces are 1,800 to 2,100°F., no exceptions.)
