"Blow Your Own" Drinking Glass - 2

Feel the heat during this glass blowing experience as you make 2 blown drinking glasses from molten glass with the assistance of our resident glassblower, Paul. You will pick your colors, dip the molten glass into colored frit, re-heat the glass in the "glory hole," and sit at the bench to use a wooden block to start shaping the glass, blow the glass into a mold, help punty the glass and transfer to another pipe, use the paddle to shape the bottom and top, and knock the glass off the pipe to create a custom drinking glass that is uniquely yours. This 45-minute session can be booked for one or two people or added on to another session. Book sessions in back-to-back time slots. You will make a tumbler similar to what's pictured. Your glass may be 3" - 5" tall. Minimum age is 8 years old. Youth 17 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED START TIME TO PICK OUT COLORS AND RECEIVE YOUR SAFETY BRIEFING. HOT GLASS REQUIRES OVERNIGHT COOLING. YOUR GLASS PIECE(S) WILL BE READY TO PICK-UP THE NEXT DAY DURING SPECIFIED HOURS. If you cannot return to pick up your piece during the specified hours, we will make other arrangements with you, including shipping at an additional cost.
